FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LONDON, 13 June 2012: Thesiger & Company Limited ('Thesigers') has published the Spring 2012 edition of its flagship bulletin, Current Intelligence. The issue featured column content on disruptive technology in emerging markets, religion in politics, energy and climate change in the Gulf States, armed intervention, and the Scarborough Shoal standoff. Responding to client demand for greater coverage of West Africa and maritime issues in the Gulf of Guinea, Thesigers also commissioned analytical and opinion essays on Mali, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia and Guinea-Bissau, as well as coverage of maritime security and counterpiracy issues in the Gulf of Guinea.
The Spring 2012 issue was Thesigers' first foray into special geopolitically-themed issues of Current Intelligence. Future issues of Current Intelligence will continue with this approach, each quarter focusing on a new region.
The Spring 2012 issue of Current Intelligence is freely available online or as a downloadable PDF.
